How to Hire a Python Developer in Pakistan
Pakistan has one of the deepest pools of self-taught, English-speaking Python developers in Asia. Rates are lower than the US or Australia and the overlap with EU business hours is generous. It's a strong hiring market — if you screen well.

**Direct referrals** — the top 10% of Pakistani devs are rarely on Fiverr.**Upwork** — good, but filter for Top Rated Plus with 1000+ hours.**Fiverr Pro** — the Pro tier only; the general marketplace is a lottery.**LinkedIn** — active senior engineers are here, especially Islamabad and Lahore.**GitHub** — search for contributors to CCXT, FastAPI, or Django plugins in PK.
Screening
For a mid-to-senior Python role, run three stages:
**Portfolio review** — real repos with tests and README, not tutorials.**Live pair session (60 min)** — a small task in their IDE. Watch how they debug.**Paid trial task (4–8 hrs)** — real ticket, real code review.
